Queensland Public Holidays
Australia has a number of national public holidays, as well as ones that are
only observed in certain states. Queensland observes some holidays that the
other states and territories do not. It is important to note that many businesses
are closed on these days. Other non-statutory days, such as Mother's Day and
Father's Day, are also celebrated.
